SPOT Visit KAMK

Visit KAMK is our biggest event of the year, open to all, bringing together KAMK's open doors, educational presentations, career and recruitment fairs, lectures and seminars, themed cafés and the Portion Boys -concert!

Visit KAMK 2023 will take place on Tuesday 3.10.2023 and the theme of the event is Spot! (BONGAA in FInnish)

"Spotting is the observation of certain types of things and writing the observations in a collection. Spotting is an intangible form of collecting, as the spotters do not take the objects they observe for themselves. However, the motivation of the spotters is often the same as that of people who actually collect things." (Wikipedia)

SPOT Parking

In the name of sustainability and responsibility, we challenge our guests to arrive on campus by walking, cycling and using public transport if possible!

The sand field next to the campus is occupied by the Kajaani Rescue Department construction site, so event guests will not be able to park there as they did last year and we will have very limited parking space available during the event.

Some parking space for cars are reserved in the sand fields near the Pallohalli and the Vimpeli Sports Field, the asphalt field next to the Tennis hall and the free/unmarked parking spaces on campus. No parking in the Jäähalli (indoor ice rink hall) yard!

Exhibitors are allowed to drive and park for a short period (max. 15 min) in front of the campus doors when setting up their stand, but cars must be moved to the official parking spaces immediately afterwards.
