KAMK offers access to all students to Microsoft Office 365 network and programs right in the beginning of the studies. As a new student, you will receive userID for KAMK information systems before the studies start.
For students outside of Finland, you need to verify your identity through Candour ID mobile application. After you have done verification successfully, the userID for KAMK information systems will be sent to your personal email address. More information about the verification will be sent to the new students after they have accepted the study place and enrolled their attendance.
Finnish students can apply for their KAMK userID from https://id.kamk.fi/
You can register for a user account 30 days before the start of your studies. Select "Register your KAMK userID" on the site. The registration of your KAMK user ID requires a strong suomi.fi authentication. You can make a strong authentication by using your personal Finnish onlinebank ID or possible mobile certificate. After strong authentication, you will be asked to review and accept the terms of use in order to set a password for your username. Please read the terms of use carefully before accepting them.
After registering your KAMK userID, your KAMK account is ready for you to use. With your KAMK username you can log in e.g. KAMK's intranet, Moodle and Office 365 service.
BYOD – Bring your own device
When starting your studies in a university, please note that you have to have your own computer (a laptop) with you. This enables you to study whenever and wherever. Check recommendations for equipment from here. If you have any questions about purchasing your own device, you can send them to helpdesk@kamit.fi.
Watch the below video to familiarize yourself with the information systems in advance.
