Starting the Studies

You made a good choice when deciding to head to Finland to study – either for a semester or two or to complete a full degree. We are pleased to welcome you at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK)!

Confirming the Study Place
To confirm the offered study place, you must accept the study place and enroll your attendance by 1 December 2023, 3:00 p.m online at My Studyinfo. If we do not receive your confirmation by the given deadline, you will lose the offered study place. The confirmation is binding.

Note that you can only confirm one study place per academic term. This means that if you have been accepted to several study programs in one application or in several applications, you need to choose which place you wish to confirm. When you have confirmed a study place, all other study programs that you have applied to and that begin during the same academic term will be cancelled automatically.

Read more about the one study place per term provision.

Note also: The students also must enroll attending / non-attending for the academic year at the same time when confirming the study place at My Studyinfo. Those subject to tuition fee, must pay the fee before they are able to enroll.

FSHS Medical Services

Starting in 2021, students who study for a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Finnish University of Applied Sciences are able to use medical services of the Finnish Health Service (FSHS).
