The WHO has outlined that the COVID-19 epidemic has reached pandemic status. As a result, KAMK is moving towards using distance learning and working as widely as possible, where applicable.
“Switching to distance learning does not mean that we will close down. It means completing parts of distance learning suitable for distance learning”, says President Matti Sarén.
Alternative teaching arrangements and remote working possibilities will be implemented as widely as possible 16.3. onwards, until further notice. Teaching and student services will be available and provide support to the students via remote connections.
Remote working will be done in tasks where it is possible. All activities requiring working on campus continues normally for teaching, expert services and R&D activities. Instead of meetings and events, remote connections are used.
“We are following the situation with the coronavirus carefully and will do everything we can to ensure safe studying and working environment” says President Sarén.
The updated information and instruction regarding the coronavirus situation are published on our web pages https://www.kamk.fi/en/coronavirus. The further information and updates on the situation will be sent to students and staff.
