35,000 euro funding for the first Business Accelerator company

10/23/2018 4:36 PM

Prodevium Oy, a company established in the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences, has received EUR 35,000 start-up support from the Kainuu ELY Centre.

The recently founded Prodevium Oy is a software and hardware development company formed by students.  The company develops solutions to various problems for both businesses and individuals. The company originated through joint study projects and is now growing rapidly.

So far, the founders of the company, Olli Kähkönen, Aleksi Moilanen and Julius Lesonen have already developed, among other things, remote management solutions for a biogas plant.

"Hardware management in the biogas plant is time-consuming. With the equipment we have devised, remote management and control of the plant can be carried out even on a mobile device," says Aleksi Moilanen.

They have also provided the Escape Room with solutions for operational automation and sensor technology.

The entrepreneurs find the Business Accelerator an excellent concept. "With the Business Accelerator we have found our business premises and we receive the best possible financial advisory services and extensive business services," says Olli Kähkönen.

Established in summer 2018, Kajaani University of Applied Sciences' Business Accelerator provides support for student start-ups and business ventures, helping them with financing, setting up a business and with all business-related issues in all of KAMK's core competencies.
