School of Tourism and Sports
The School of Tourism and Sports provides programmes of 210 credits extending over 3.5 years, leading to a Bachelor in Hospitality Management (tourism) and Bachelor in Sports Studies (Sports).
Studies Taught in Finnish
The aim of the Bachelor's Degree in Tourism is that students become experts capable of multidisciplinary cooperation in tourism. The overriding themes of the degree are the development of creativity, responsible tourism entrepreneurship, international competence and self-knowledge as well as adventure in tourism product development.
Also the Master's Degree in Tourism (90 ECTS) leading to Master of Hospitality Management is offered at KAMK.
The Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Leisure Management provides education for experts of the future working in instruction, planning, teaching and management in the field of sports and leisure management. The degree is delivered in close co-operation with Vuokatti-Ruka Sports Academy. The Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Leisure Management consists of 210 credits (3.5 years) and leads to a Bachelor's degree qualification in Sports Studies (Sports Instructor).
The studies in Master's Degree in Sports Leadership and Development are worth 90 credits and they lead to Master of Sports Studies qualification. The aim of the degree is to provide the skills and expertise required in demanding development and expert tasks in the field of sports and leisure management.
