Master's Degree in International Business Management
Welcome to study at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences! On this page you can find the essential information and materials you will need to get started with your studies at KAMK.
1. Confirming the Study Place and enrolling
After the student selections are final, an email will be sent to you with information on the offered study place. The email will be sent to the address you gave in your application.
Results are announced on 28 June 2019, at the latest. Start visa/residence permit application procedure immediately if needed. Please note that after you have been accepted as a student, any study options with lower preference have been cancelled automatically.
To confirm the offered place, you must accept the study place and enroll by 8 July 2019, 3:00 p.m online at Studyinfo. According to one-place-per-student –provision, a student may accept only one study place included in joint applications leading to a higher education degree during one academic semester. If we do not receive your confirmation by the given deadline, you will lose the offered study place. The confirmation is binding.
2. Tuition fee payment
The tuition fee for non-EU/EEA citizens at KAMK is 6 000 euros per academic year. There are no scholarships available for the first study year.
The tuition fee for the first academic year must be paid when confirming the study place. It is not possible to pay in installments. The non-EU/EEA students who have been accepted to study at KAMK will receive an email with instructions on how to make the online payment for tuition fee. Read more
3. Original school certificates
Please be prepared to present the original certificate (in national language) at the beginning of the studies. The copies will be compared to the original certificates. If there are discrepancies between the original certificates and the copies submitted the UAS has the right to cancel the study place of the selected student if the correct information on the original certificate does not consequently entitle the student to a study place at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.
Admission to the University of Applied Sciences is therefore conditional until certificates have been checked and successfully compared with the original certificates.
4. Starting the Studies
The Master's degree studies are part-time and will be arranged mostly online. The studies include two intensive weeks during the academic year. The first intensive week takes place between 9 and 13 September 2019. New students are expected to be present on the intensive weeks.
In case the students is not granted a visa to join the intensive week, the programme coordinator will decide about the continuation of the studies.
