Entrance Exams for the Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Leisure Management

The exam includes written tasks such as essay, motivation tasks and logic thinking and mathematics and an interview. The exam arranged in Kajaani also includes an evaluation of the applicant's motor skills through a series of sports tests and an evaluation of his/her instruction skills during a coaching session (short task is given during the entrance exam). For those taking the exam online, will be required to submit an additional sports video where they perform certain tasks based on separate instructions. 

 

1. Joint application 7 - 20 January 2021 
 1 a) Entrance exams online (FINNIPS-network), 
        on
 8 - 12 February 2021
  • Recommended for applicants from outside Finland
  • No pre-reading material for the exam
  • The applicants who pass the written part, will be invited for the online interviews (arranged by 15 March 2021)
  • Sports video required
  • Results published in April
 1 b) Entrance exam in Kajaani, Finland (on campus) 
         on 8 April, 2021
  • Recommended for applicants living in Finland
  • No pre-reading material
  • Written part, sports tasks + interview on the same day
  • Results published by 4 June
 2. Separate application period 1 March - 23 April 2021 
  2 a) Online exam on 23 March 2021
  • No pre-reading material
  • The applicants who pass the written part, will be invited for the online interviews (30 - 31 March), max 50 best will be interviewed
  • Sports video required
  • Results published at the beginning of April
  • Please note! The application may be closed after this exam in case the groups are full! 
  2 b) Online exam 29 April 2021
  • No pre-reading material
  • The applicants who pass the written part, will be invited to the online interviews (10 - 11 May), max 50 best will be interviewed
  • Sports video required
  • Results published at the end of May

 

 

Note: Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Leisure Management does not accept entrance examination results from other UAS.
