Library - Introduction

Kajaani University of Applied Sciences library and information services are at everyone's disposal - both students and other inhabitants of Kainuu. You may borrow books and many other types of material from us. We also offer guidance and advice on how to get the information you need. You can reserve a study room for your use. We also have computers with Internet connections for our customers to use. We offer a number of journals and periodicals, both in the library and on the library´s website.

We strive to meet all the information requirements of both Kajani UAS and the regional business sector. Our material thus cover the areas taught by different Schools of the UAS. We contribute towards developing scientific information services in Kainuu and are currently creating a network between businesses and educational establishments.
