Programme for Teaching Staff
Programme for Teaching Staff / School of Health

The School of Health at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences will organize the 4th international, intensive course in evidence-based practice. The 2018 theme is Smart, Evidence-Based Solutions in Health Care. ‘In addition to using technological solutions, ‘smart solutions’ refer to the ability to do the right things in the right way.

The aim of the intensive course is to provide students with an opportunity to apply current and evidence-based knowledge when planning, implementing, evaluating and developing nursing care and enhance their professional competence. Learning strategies include master lectures given by international lecturers in cooperation with KAMK lecturers, student group work, and presentations of group work. The language of instruction is English.

The intensive course gives the participating lecturers an opportunity to discuss the development of evidence-based nursing and share ideas with colleagues in an international context and develop further cooperation between partner universities.

Programme for Non-Teaching Staff

KAMK Service Departments (Research and Development, Library, International Services, Student Services, Campus Services and Adult and Continuing Education AIKOPA) welcome administrative staff from our partner institutions to share their ideas and best practices related to internationalization and digitalization. The programme will consist of a mixture of meetings/presentations and workshops.
